In this episode of La Pause Café Croissant , I share the story of a personal challenge: cycling 120 km in one day with my father to finish our trip along the Canal du Midi . Originally, we planned to return by car, but we pushed ourselves to ride home by bike turning it into a real sporting challenge . We rode for 8 hours and 40 minutes (10h40 with breaks), got lost a few times trying to avoid traffic, ate simple meals on the go (croissants, salads, candy, quiche, raspberry tart...), and had lots of laughs. Neither of us are regular cyclists, but with a solid base in general fitness, we made it and even pushed the route from 116 to exactly 120 km , just for the satisfaction.
